Cross Platform App Development
Middle School – Wizard Level III – Class 3
About Cross Platform App Development
Students in Cross Platform App Development learn how to successfully create and manage cross platform mobile applications. Not all apps are created equal. If you’ve ever switched between an Apple and Android phone, you may have noticed that not all of your favorite apps are available in your new app store. In this class, students will be able to create apps that are available to all phone users, regardless of the operating system by using JavaScript and building on what they already know about mobile app development.
Learning Objectives
When students complete Cross Platform App Development, they will be able to:
- Understand UI/UX principles
- Create advanced cross platform mobile apps
- Explain the nuances of different platforms
Launch an App in App Store
You can’t understand software engineering until you have shipped some code to users. In this course, we guide students into shipping a mobile app to real users by launching the app in the iPhone or Android app store.
