Building Web Applications
Middle School – Wizard Level III – Class 1
About Building Web Applications
Students in Building Web Applications learn how to create web applications that incorporate a variety of different technologies. While websites provide programmers with the ability to provide information to the client, web applications allow for programmers to interact and retrieve client information. By taking a look at cloud computing, how to use a JavaScript web framework, and JavaScript libraries students will be able to create highly interactive and useful web apps.
Learning Objectives
When students complete Building Web Applications, they will be able to:
- Create complex web applications
- Access cloud storage
- Integrate APIs into programs
Launch an App in App Store
You can’t understand software engineering until you have shipped some code to users. In this course, we guide students into shipping a mobile app to real users by launching the app in the iPhone or Android app store.
